Wow. I have had Jake's in my Apple Maps guide for quite some time after sooo many people suggested it. After going, I will now be one of those people. I cannot SHUT UP about it. This review is long overdue. One night, my boyfriend and I wandered in, sat at the bar and sat next to the most fabulous couple. They suggested everything, from main course items, to drinks, to dessert. It felt like a guided tour de Jake's! We got EVERYTHING they told us to-- and they weren't wrong or off in the slightest. Wow. Just wow. A culinary experience and a bartenders dream to go out. Their bar set up was wildly admirable from a fellow bartenders perspective. Very clean, tidy and orderly. Plus the bartenders personality was never a performance, and wasn't pushy or overbearing at all, which can sometimes happen. Whoever owns or is running this joint, deserves a round of applause. We were thrilled with the service, food and ambiance and I'm not just saying that due to Yelp, I was truly impressed. When food and drinks cost an arm and a leg these days in this economy, and in this uncertain world of unprecedented times , you want to go out and relax and know that your money is going towards something you will enjoy and not regret when the bill comes. Jake's does it all. I'm so happy we found this place. I'm so happy we found ourselves at the bar and I'm so happy that the couple next to us were thoroughly helpful in our dining experience. We cannot wait to go again.

Amazing experience at Jake's. We chose to sit at the bar for dinner and our bartender Nada was incredible. We ordered the SEAFOOD CAMPECHEAN and Calamari. Both were fantastic but the campechean stole the show. Don't like the peppers scare you. It's not very spicy and is a stunning appetizer presented in a large martini glass. For dinner I had the Chilean Sea Bass which was absolutely out of this world! I can't say enough how the tender and flavorful the dish was. I can't wait to have it again. My husband ordered the Steak Wedge and was super happy with the cut of meat and perfectly cooked. We happened to meet the owners who made our night so wonderful. We will be back every time we come to psp!

We went to a lot of perfectly fine meals in Palm Springs, but few excellent ones. This brunch at Jake's was excellent. The ambience is really nice - a lot of little rooms that feel like separate but connected dining experiences - most of them indoor/outdoor. We sat outside on the Lanai which was quiet and pleasant. I had the OAXACAN OLD FASHION which was one of the best cocktails I have had in quite some time. Smoky, sweet, with actual squares of dark chocolate in it. Believe what the menu says about slow cocktail service - my drink did actually come out after my meal was halfway over, but it was a nice after service. I had the Monte Cubano for a meal - which was decadent - French and Cuban cuisine combined was rich and flavorful and filling. My spouse had the shrimp tacos which she really enjoyed.

What a lovely place to spend an afternoon! I've been to Jake's before, not sure why I haven't reviewed them yet. Jake's is a pleasant Palm Springs eatery... with friendly staff, cool bartenders, great food, and even better drinks. If you are looking for a nice place to have brunch or a late lunch with cocktails... this is your place. Their dinner selections are fantastic too! Recently expanded, the patio is beautiful. Enjoy!

Had a fabulous lunch with friends! We sat on a breezy, shaded patio with umbrellas and fresh flowers. Dominic was spot on with his recommendations for cocktails and lunch. We tried the watermelon and spicy pineapple margaritas, the soft shell crab BLT, Shrimp tacos and the date salad. All were out of this world. The dessert case was too tempting to pass up so we left with 4 kinds of layer cakes. Our favorite was the carrot cake but the salted caramel, pistachio cherry and chocolate brownie cakes were wonderful as well. The service was top notch as well! Our waiter was very attentive and our meals came out fresh and fast. We will be back!!

Super busy Sunday and the staff at Jake's was efficient and courteous - to be honest I don't know how they did it. Food was fantastic - delicious date salad, BLT, turkey sandwiches - and drinks. We sat on the back patio and it was an enjoyable brunch for everyone.

Jake's has seen many changes of the years! Including the passing of a few owner-owner mascots names Jake ! We have new Jake and a new era with the very sophisticated Riley at the helm. Riley is most amazing at the front desk. She is personable and really invested in her patrons having the best dining experience. We asked to change tables during Modernism week in PS when everything is fully committed. We had hearing issues (we are local residents , and as far as locals go, none of us are getting any younger !) we finally were placed at a wonderful table in front of the restaurant outside. It was absolute perfection. The food was wonderful, deserts over the top, and service extremely professional. But, the night would have been a total BUST if Riley was not in the control tower, finding tables so we could land safely. Thank you Riley, so deservedly, for everything you did for us ! And , Welcome Jake III!

We sat down immediately in the room in the front. They actually sat 3 tables at once . While we were looking at the drink menu a woman came up and asked what we would like to drink. I think it was the Manager, which was nice to help out a server that was busy with other guests. We told her we weren't ready as only one of us saw the cocktail menu. A couple minutes later Our server Gerardo came to the table. We ordered a couple spicy Watermelon cosmos. I had Iced tea. We also ordered a couple appetizers, The Blistered Cherry tomato Burrata and General Tso Cauliflower. The Burrata was excellent with 2 large pieces of Burrata and 4 cherry tomatoes. Tasted wonderful. General Tso cauliflower was a very large portion it has a nice flavor, my only issue that I thought it was a little heavy, but it tasted good.We were also server fresh baked rolls which were very tasty. We had a little long with for our entrees, which was no fault of the restaurant as were delayed our order as we weren't ready. Entrees rack of lamb we good as was the Bolognese Pappardelle. My baby back ribs were good however I was expecting more pineapple flavor as in a sweeter sauce, as opposed to a very savory. All in all literally the best service we have had in the Desert . The Hostess the server assistant and our server Gerardo were very attentive and made us feel at home. We will be back

Really enjoyed the food. I had the yummy BLTA. The drinks were also very tasty, peach Bellini was delicious. The best part was the service. The servers were attentive and suggested a great drink for my husband, he ended up with the Oaxaca old fashioned. The manager was the nicest. A nice surprise after a long drive to enjoy a weekend in Palms Springs.

Had a great dinner here although experienced a a hiccup around the length of time to get seated with reservation. Once past that it was a nice experience including some tasty menu options with additional choices on special days and holidays. I had the Sea Bass which was outstanding packed with fresh flavors. The Brussels Sprouts are a must try S they were delicious. The outside seating in front could use some tribal heaters so be sure to sit inside if cold isn't your thing. It's cute, cozy and truly the vibe of Palm Springs.
